This is a waterproof seal that prevents rainwater from entering the gap between the awning and the vehicle wall. Enhances weather protection for awnings that arent flush-mounted to the vehicle.
Some awnings are mounted slightly away from the vehicle wall, creating a gap that could let water in. This seal is specifically made for that setup.
The seal fits into a designated slot on the awnings casing (the box that houses the awning when retracted), making installation straightforward.
