This ready to use fabric cleaner is specially formulated to help loosen and remove everyday dirt, grime and stains from fabric, carpets and upholstery.Ideal for routine maintenance or treating localised marks, it helps lift dirt from textile fibres for easier removal.
It’s perfect for use on awnings, tents and other fabric surfaces, helping to keep your outdoor equipment looking its best.For best results, use Quest Max Shield Fabric Cleaner before applying a fabric protector to help prepare the surface and maintain its condition.
Directions for Use – General Cleaning
1. Vacuum or brush the fabric first to remove loose dust and debris.
2. Spray Fabric Cleaner directly onto the material until the area is lightly damp rather than saturated.
3. Gently agitate the treated area using a suitable upholstery brush or clean cloth.
4. Allow the cleaner to dwell for approximately 15 minutes.
5. Blot or wipe the area with a clean, dry cloth to remove loosened contamination.
6. Rinse the cleaned area using warm water and a clean cloth, then allow the material to dry naturally.
7. Repeat if required on heavily soiled areas.
Directions for Use – Stain Removal
1. Spray Fabric Cleaner directly onto the stain.
2. Gently agitate with a suitable upholstery brush for a few minutes.
3. Leave for approximately 15 minutes. Re-apply a small amount if the area begins to dry.
4. Agitate again gently, then blot with a clean, dry cloth.
5. Rinse with warm water using a clean cloth.
6. Repeat if necessary, then allow the fabric to dry completely.
Useful Notes
Always test on an inconspicuous area before use.
Avoid over-wetting the material.
Do not use excessive mechanical agitation.
Allow the fabric to dry completely before applying Fabric Protector.
